Actually, I think ACC did a wonderful job working through this
They are not SEC bat shit crazy, and dont give a damn.
They knew alot of politics with states of GA, SC and FLA
They knew at the other extreme, The Northern Tier was ready to punt football, from BC, Pitt Cuse, (and I really think UVA and VT was very very close)....Duke and Wake was....
I key is the ACC standard consistent testing protocols within the conference for athletic program (not the institution wide, but consistent level for athletic programs. That got the Northern tier sold, (actually gets Notre Dame sold, and the schools in SC, GA and Fla are ok.
The key is follow through by the institutions.
